Abigail Hakas is an intern with Next Generation Newsroom. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Abigail is a student at Chatham University. Her reporting has appeared in several news outlets in Southwestern Pennsylvania, and she has interned with NEXTpittsburgh, the Pittsburgh Jewish Chronicle. Outside of journalism, Abigail has a passion for wrestling, video games and animals.
